How to Pick the Right Crystals for You

Picking a crystal can be a very intuitive and fun event. You may like the feel of it, or the colour, and often times the shape attracts you. Some people even say “it called to me” or “I just had to pick it up.” This is a very good way to choose a crystal. Of course, it is good to look at the crystal chart that most stores have to see the properties of each crystal. Also, it is good to know what you will use the crystal for. Having said that, sometimes I have picked up crystals not knowing their purpose or who they are for but finding great purpose for them later. TAKE YOUR TIME AND HAVE FUN!

As you get attuned to different types of energy your hands will pick up the vibrations of the crystals. Try both hands but generally use your left hand as it connects to the right side of the brain which is known for its psychic and creative ability. Of course there are always exceptions. At first you may feel “cold” or “heat”. Give it to a friend and see if they feel the same thing.  Try them on your fingertips or on the palm of the hand. These are most sensitive. As you progress, you will notice a pulse, or a tingling in your hand or arm. It is different with every individual and the main thing is to use your own senses and your own intuition. What is interesting is that you can pick out one piece of quartz and not feel anything, and yet when you pick up another one, you do feel something from it. Just as no two people are alike, the same is true of crystals. Crystals may look the same but they are like snowflakes, all individual. Sometimes the first one you pick turns out to be the right one for you. 
If you find it hard to distinguish feelings after trying so many crystals, just rub your palms together briskly and then shake them out as if you had water on them. This will clear the vibrations.
 
Having said all this, it is a funny occurrence but whatever crystals you take home, YOU PICKED THE RIGHT ONES FOR YOU. THERE ARE NO WRONG CHOICES!
